This September will be the fourth annual Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive for the benefit of the abused and exploited children of the Eastern Seaboard.

For those of you who are new to the region, the objective of our fund raising is to help and assist children of impoverished and broken families. This entails helping the children get off the streets and offering them the opportunity of a fresh start in life through community support, care and education.

As in previous years, the recipient charity nominated is the Fountain of Life Center for Children under the auspices of the newly registered Good Shepherd Foundation, which is an accredited, and well-organised aid organization involved in numerous children's welfare and protection activities in the area. Last year was our most successful Charity Drive ever. However, these efforts are never finished. We would like everyone's support and assistance yet again, as our goal for them is sustainability.

The Jesters Charity Drive is Pattaya's biggest annual event and connects the local expatriate and Thai communities. It also attracts both national and international media publicity.

Was steht hinter „Care For Kids“
Für alle die uns noch nicht kennen: „Care For Kids“ wurde 1998 mit dem Ziel gegründet, Kindern von verarmten und zerbrochenen Familien zu helfen. Mit unseren Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltungen tragen wir dazu bei, den missbrauchten und ausgebeuteten Kindern, welche auf der Strasse leben, einen neuen Start in die Gemeinschaft zu ermöglichen und gewährleisten deren schulische Ausbildung und Erziehung. Wie in den vergangenen Jahren wird die Wohltätigkeitsinstitution „Fountain of Life Center“ (Quelle des Lebens) unterstützt. Diese Hilfsorganisation untersteht der Schirmherrschaft der neu registrierten „Good Shepherd Foundation“. Sie ist akkreditiert, gut organisiert und tätig in zahlreichen Aktivitäten zum Wohl und Schutz von Kindern in dieser Region.

Die „Care For Kids“ Veranstaltungen haben sich mittlerweilen zu den größten Ereignissen in Pattaya entwickelt, und erfreuen sich einer hohen Aufmerksamkeit der lokalen und nationalen Medien. Im letzten Jahr hatten wir die erfolgreichste Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung seit Beginn unserer „Care For Kids“ Aktion. En septembre prochain, aura lieu le quatrième événement annuel “Care for Kids” organise par l’association des Jesters au profit des enfants maltraites de l’Eastern Seaboard.

L’objectif de cet événement est de récolter des fonds afin d’aider les enfants issus de familles demunies et séparées. Cette aide consiste a sortir les enfants de la rue et a leur offrir un nouveau départ dans la vie par le biais d’un soutien social, affectif et éducatif.

Tout comme les années précédentes, l’organisation bénéficiaire est “Fountain of Life Centre for Children”, centre désormais sous les auspices de la fondation “Good Shepherd”. Cette fondation est reconnue et structurée pour organiser diverses opérations au profit des enfants défavorisés de la région.

L’événement a connu un immense succès l’an dernier. Toutefois, afin de maintenir notre soutien dans le temps nos effort doivent être renouvelés chacque année. C’est pourquoi nous vous sollicitons à nouveau afin d’apporter une aide durable a notre action.
