Re: The preparation for the Jesters Care for Kids
Charity Drive 2002 is underway.
Dear Sir, dear Madam,
It is time for us to start the planning in earnest
for our Care for Kids Charity Drive this year. For those of you
who are new to the Eastern Seaboard, we help poor and abused children
get off the streets and give them a chance for a decent education.
Already there are good things happening. First of
all, GeckoTech Controls Engineers has provided us with a new commercial
Web Site with easier access and much larger capacity. Our new site
is now www.care4kids.info. Please visit
us for background of our previous four charity drives, as well as
updates about this year’s events. Susie, our Web Master, has
also put everything from our site on disk with extensive photo galleries,
which we will use to help promote our events this year. And, the
best and latest news is that we already have our first Platinum
Sponsor: Niel Poulsen on behalf of Chonburi Siam Steel Mill Services
has come through yet again for the 5th consecutive year.
We are currently looking at different potential sites
for our Children’s Fair this year. We would like to secure
a location as early as we can, so we can start our advertising.
We also want to solicit potential corporate sponsors at this time,
so we can give them their due recognition. If you are interested
in helping us help the needy children of the region this year, please
do not hesitate to contact us.
The Fountain of Life Center for children under the auspices of the
Good Shepherd Foundation will again be our main beneficiary for
2002. However, we will also be assisting the Eastern Children Welfare
Protection Institute (ECWPI) in Huay Pong of Rayong Province in
addition to other projects benefitting deprived kids.
This year our Children’s Fair will be on Sunday,
September 15th this year, and our Pub Night on the following Saturday,
the 21st.
