Kids! Kids!
Kids! Grab your Moms and Dads and bring the entire family
to the 2003 Jesters Children's Fair to be held Sunday,
14 September from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Diana Garden
Resort & Driving Range. It has always been a day
of fun-filled delight and this year's Fair looks to
be bigger and better than ever.
The past four events were huge successes.
First held at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in 1999,
Amari Orchid Resort in 2000, Siam Bayshore Resort in
2001 and last year at the Diana Garden Resort and Driving
Range. Once again, the Diana Group will generously host
the Fair this year by making available the entire driving
range facility to the many fair goers who plan to participate
in this action-packed event. A special short stay package
is on offer from the Diana Garden Resort for anyone
wishing to stay over for the Fair. Details published
in Pattaya Mail.

The Fair events include plenty of new and exciting
games and prizes for the kids. Many new children’s
games will be introduced at this year's Fair and
numerous schools will participate providing children's
entertainment including puppet shows and face painting.
In addition, there will be live bands on stage with
great sound, famous well-known entertainers, clowns
distributing brightly colored balloons, a climbing
wall, the ever-popular bouncy castle, pony rides
and a superb variety of your favorite Thai and Western
foods. The Fair will also have exotic handicraft
vendors from throughout Southeast Asia displaying
their wares. There will be more stalls than last
year, with additional shaded areas. |
Let's not forget about the Children's
Raffle either, with loads of prizes and this year with
special emphasis on the older kids.
‘Biffo’ is starring as this
year's giant teddy bear, surrounded by many prizes that
include a Sony Play Station II, boxes of Lego from Denmark
(each with nearly 2000 assorted pieces), Color TV, MP3
player, VCD & DVD, bicycle, remote control vehicles,
electronic keyboard, and much much more. Biffo is kindly
donated by Pattaya Trader, and all the prizes sponsored
by Pattaya Sports Club, the Jesters and generous individuals.
One item will be up for auction when the Children’s
Raffle draw takes place – a football signed by
David Beckham, so children have a word with Dad and
get him to be ready to make a bid for it. Who knows,
he might even want it himself!
This year's action-packed showstopper
will be the special Children's Tug of War. That's right,
no adults this year, only children will participate.
So start thinking about your teams and begin to train
to ‘take the strain’ and pull to win.
All Fair proceeds will go to the three
main beneficiaries of the Jesters ‘Care for Kids’
Charity Drive 2003, namely the Eastern
Child Welfare Protection Institute in Huay Pong,
Rayong, the Pattaya
Redemptorist School for the Blind Naklua and the
Fountain
of Life Center in North Pattaya. So don't forget
to mark the date on your calendars for Sunday September
14th. In the meantime, you can follow the progress of
the detailed planning for the Fair on our Website at
www.care4kids.info.
The 2003 ‘Care for Kids’ T-shirt
is now available at Shenanigans and TQ, price
300 baht, or two for 500 baht with a good choice
of adult and children’s sizes. So too, is
this year's free Jesters ‘Care for Kids’
Bumper Sticker, available at Shenanigans, Diana
Inn, Foodland, Pattaya Mail offices, Friendship
Supermarket, Bangkok Pattaya Hospital International
Dept., PSC Office and Tahitian Queen Beach Road.
Display this sticker on a car bumper, motor
cycle, shop window or anywhere, and you could
win a ‘thank-you’ prize from our Mystery
Spotter, who will be out and about from now right
up until the Children’s Fair. Prizes include
Jesters merchandise, Breakfast, Irish Coffee or
Weekend Carvery at Shenanigans, and sports shirts
to name a few. |
|
So pick one up (or several to give to
friends) and give our spotter the chance to reward you.
More news about the Jesters Children’s Fair &
Charity Bike Ride, and Jesters Pub Night every week
in Pattaya Mail and on Pattaya Mail Television News.
Remember, whatever you do and however
you participate in the 2003 Jesters Charity Drive, it
is the less fortunate kids that will benefit, and that
is why it is called ‘Care for Kids’.
