Dear Sir or Madam,

On National Children’s Day, Saturday, January 11th 2003, we officially opened the newly renovated boys’ dormitory that we sponsored at the Eastern Child Welfare Protection Institute (ECWPI) in Huay Pong from the proceeds of last year’s Charity Drive. As it is never too soon to get started, we took advantage of this occasion to also announce the commencement of this year’s Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive (JCD2003) by pledging to renovate another building on their premises, namely one of the two main classrooms.

Now that we have finally found homes for our main events, it is our pleasure to announce that this year’s Children’s Fair will be again held at the Diana Garden Resort & Driving Range off North Road, Pattaya on Sunday, September 14th, while our Pub Night will be at our mainstay, Shenanigans, on the following Saturday, September 20th. In the meantime, we have started to solicit corporate sponsors with the hope of confirming them as soon as we can, so that we can start work on our poster, flier and shirt designs. For those of you who are new to the Eastern Seaboard, we help poor and abused kids get off the streets and give them the chance of a decent education.

Once again this year we will be donating proceeds to the Eastern Child Welfare Protection Institute (ECWPI) in Huay Pong in Rayong, the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind in Naklua, as well as the Fountain of Life’s Children’s Center under the auspices of the Good Shepherd Foundation. We are also looking at other possible beneficiaries for this year.
