The Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drive has grown since 1998, to a level hardly dreamed of in its early days. This is largely due to improved levels of organization through an executive committee combining the experience and talents of Jesters MC members, together with co-opted volunteers bringing a variety of professional skills to the table and much time, which is given freely.
Jesters MC Thailand President Lewis ‘Woody’ Underwood chairs and co-ordinates the committee during a campaign that begins at the planning stage in February and increases in momentum right up to the main Charity Drive events in September.
Since 1998, the Jesters Care for Kids Charity Drives have raised over 40 million baht
(approx. USD$1,275, 000) for needy children on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand.
This year the Jesters Children’s Fair will be on Sunday, September 14th, at the Diana Garden Resort and Driving Range, and followed six days later by the Jesters Charity Night at Jameson's on Saturday, September 20th.
